The package includes 1× BRITA MAXTRA PRO Pure Performance filter, which is designed to filter up to 150 liters of water or for 4 weeks of use – whichever comes first.

The filter uses a combination of activated carbon and ion exchanger:

• activated carbon helps reduce chlorine and other substances that affect the taste and odor of water,
• ion exchanger reduces carbonate hardness in water, thereby helping to limit limescale buildup,
• it also helps reduce lead and copper,
• the fine filter mesh captures tiny particles and impurities.

The activated carbon is made from coconut shells. The filter body is made of BPA-free plastic, intended for permanent contact with water.
