The package contains 2 BRITA MAXTRA PRO Pure Performance filters. Each filter is designed to filter up to 150 liters of water or for 4 weeks of use – whichever comes first.

The entire package therefore lasts for up to 300 liters of water or 8 weeks of use.

The filters are compatible with BRITA filter jugs that use the MAXTRA PRO system.

How does the filtration work?

Tap water gradually passes through several filtration layers, which help improve its taste while reducing selected unwanted substances.

1. Extra-fine mesh
Retains coarse mechanical particles and organic impurities.

2. Activated carbon – Micro Carbon Pearls
Mainly helps reduce chlorine and other substances affecting the taste and odor of water. It also contributes to the reduction of selected pesticides, herbicides, PFAS, and pharmaceutical residues.

3. Ion-exchange resin
Reduces carbonate hardness of water, thereby helping to limit the formation of limescale. At the same time, it helps reduce certain heavy metals, such as lead and copper.

4. Extra-fine filtration mesh
Retains fine particles as small as ≥ 30 µm and contributes to the overall clarity of filtered water.
